The stretches that need attention
March to May: application season
Two months sounds generous. In practice, most of that time goes on chasing certificates: an OBC-NCL or EWS certificate in the right date range, the Annexure V for final-year students, self-attested mark sheets. Apply early in this window, not on 30 April.
The three-day edit window
The correction window was only three days in 2026. Diarise it the day you submit.
Exam week
The admit card was available from 27 May until the morning of the exam. Print it on a laser printer, as the brochure requires, and check your centre's location a few days in advance.
Late June to late July: counselling
This is the busiest part. Rounds come every four to five days, and each allotment has a short reporting window. If you miss the seat-acceptance deadline after an allotment, you can lose the seat. Keep your phone and email active, and check the portal on every allotment evening.
How the calendar has held up

|---|---|
| 2024 | 8 June 2024 |
| 2025 | 8 June 2025 |

Early June has been the pattern for three years.
