A syllabus PDF tells you what is examined. A checklist tells you what you have actually finished. This page turns the NIMCET syllabus (revised from 2026) into lists you can work down, with each Mathematics topic linked to a study page on this site.
For what changed in the revision, see the revised syllabus explained.

How to use this checklist
Go through each list three times: once to learn, once to practise questions, and once to revise under time. A topic is only "done" after the third pass. Start with the Mathematics units, which carry 600 of the 1,000 marks.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the main topics in the NIMCET maths syllabus?
Set theory and logic, probability and statistics, algebra, 2D coordinate geometry, calculus and trigonometry.
Is the NIMCET syllabus the same as Class 12 maths?
Much of it overlaps with Class 11–12, but it also includes topics such as Rolle's theorem, the mean value theorem, moments and pair of straight lines.
Does the NIMCET syllabus include vectors?
Vectors are not listed in the revised syllabus that applies from 2026.
Which section has the largest syllabus?
Mathematics, which also carries 60% of the marks.
